I have not yet used this for travel, so cannot comment on its durability or ease of shoving under the airplane seat.

Underseat carryon did not have spinner wheels as advertised. Laptop sleeve not removable and takes up too much space if not needed. I would have returned it except I was overseas and needed the replacement for a damaged bag. Totally not worth the price.

I love this suitcase. Its roomy and will be great for travel.. Thanks for having it at a great price so I could afford it. I have not tried it yet at a airport. But will update my information when I get thar chance.

The main purpose of this bag is to fit underneath the (coach) seat in front of you on a typical commercial airliner. It is small enough to do just that in most cases, at least in my experience. Of course that is unlikely the case for less conventional seat (i.e., business class or corporate jet) but that’s a very different “problem.”

For many years Ive used a High Sierra tiny rolling suitcase as my daily computer bag. It is wearing out and needs replaced. I need something that can hold a change of clothes with a computer thats accessible from the outside without showing off my laundry. I thought this bag might have a large enough front pouch to achieve this and really liked the USB feature, but in addition to having fewer accessible storage compartments from the outside, the large one was too small even for a tiny convertible executive laptop.

Just what I was looking for to combine with my overhead bin carry-on to be able to pack enough luggage without having to check a bag. Sturdy, fits on the handle of my carry-on and has a lot more space inside than I expected.

I bought under seat bag together with matching rolling carry-on in order to stack it on the carry-on. Disappointed. The band on under seater to slide over the carry-on handle is both too low & too loose. The result is that the stacked under seat bag leans away from the carry on making the center of gravity off for both bags. The bags will topple over if not leaned against a wall, chair or heavier luggage. My email to Samsonite to see if there was a re-design went unanswered. I returned both bags.

We recently bought four of these for a trip. They exceeded my expectations in every way! Excellent quality, great use of space with practical compartments, and fitted enough for a week beach vacation. Super easy to open for TSA if necessary. Even the flight attendant commented on how small they were. After ordering about four different types to test run, these came out as our definite favorites! It is on the smaller side of the carryon we were permitted but I’m so happy because if we fly a different airline with tighter restrictions, it won’t be a problem. If I saw any downside, it would be to remove the cumbersome sleeve inside which could fit your iPad, but that’s personal and I may even use it in the future if needed. Buy, buy, buy!!!

This case holds a lot and yet fits underseat and in the overhead bins on smaller aircraft.
