This is a great kit. The tools are great. The sensors are (Elite Series 1) far better than what comes standard on an Elite Series 2 from the factory. Great little kit. Well put together.

Great product. video tutorial was very easy to follow. If you have some experience with soldering, its super easy. Came with plenty of spare switches in case they dont last. Saved my $180 controller from being thrown out. If your bumpers are double clicking or not responding at all, this is what you need.

I bought this to replace a bad bumper switch on my son’s controller. This kit includes the torx bits and pry bars to open the controller but you’ll need a soldering kit as well. Also I’d highly recommend buying a Helping Hands kit to hold the board while soldering (look it up…they’re sold on Amazon) unless you have a second person to help out. I’m a novice at soldering, but this was doable. The hardest part is desoldering the switch to remove it. That said, the rest is pretty easy and straightforward. My son and I completed the job in about 2 hours (we replaced both of his bumper switches). One more thing, the box contains a QR code link to a super helpful video walking you through the whole process of taking apart the controller, removing and replacing the switches, testing the new switches, then putting at all back together.

Saved me $150 on a new controller. Was able to install without removing the rumble motor wires, just be super careful if you attempt that, they are really thin.

Just installed these a couple weeks ago. Great to have the feel back, and know that I have extras. Ive now become an expert at taking controllers apart and putting them back together, although I still get assistance when it comes to the soldering portion. Their video is very helpful for installation. However theres some steps that are unnecessary as well. The rumble pack wires do not need to be removed. Theres enough clearance to separate the boards without this step.

Like many others, I had issues with the bumpers on my Elite Series 2 controller. The processed of soldering these in seemed a little daunting at first but ended up being super easy. Fixed my issue completely.

The nice thing is that it comes with almost everything you need, the bad thing is that this is not made for an elite series 2. I took the controller apart and their piece is soldered onto the board and unless you know how to undo that and re-solder, this is useless. Luckily it was cheap but the video also didnt really show you how to install this. These are made more for someone who has experience replacing board pieces, not for beginners or those looking for a plug and play replacement.
