Didn’t know I needed this until I received a newer work laptop. The fans in it were working overtime sitting flat on the desk. I was debating on this or the non-adjustable version in this brand. The non-adjustable one would work for me if it had a steeper pitch and shorter height. I like how I wouldn’t have to worry about any joints loosening if I went with that version. I’ve had this product for a couple of weeks, but these are my thoughts so far: Pros: • Laptop fans no longer making a lot of noise (no overheating). • Sturdy and stable. • Fairly level. See attached photos. • No annoying / distracting logos. • Height and pitch adjustable. Cons: • None for me so far. Note: I don’t plan on regularly readjusting it. But I imagine if someone wanted a stand they can easily collapse / readjust and carry around daily, this might not be best solution due to high tension of the joints. With regular and frequent readjusting and collapsing, the tension / joints may loosen.

I got this stand so that my laptop would take up less space on my desk when I use a external monitor. I have a pretty chunky/heavy (for modern standards) 15.6” laptop and this stand has absolutely zero problems holding it up. The stand itself is solid and infinitely adjustable. I highly recommend this stand.

The keywords for this laptop stand are stable, sturdy and heavy. So, clearly this was not designed for travelers. It does not need any assembly (unlike some others) but it is not very easy to set up (unlike some others). In fact, you need to apply substantial amount of force to adjust its height and position, no joke! This is due to the connection points that are tightly connected to each other and unfortunately, they are not adjustable bolts or anything (unlike some other models). Also, it is fairly heavy, while it is not good for carrying in a bag for travel, it makes it fairly stable. The supporting legs are connected to the base at the far back. This is good if you would like to use the space underneath (like me for instance for another laptop, please see the pictures) however it is not very good if you need to push the legs far back in which case your laptop might fall backwards because center of the weight moves backward too much. The stand can be adjusted in many ways, the only way it cannot be adjusted is it does not let your computer turn around unlike some other models. I dont need that feature but there are use cases for sure. This stand fits very well to my use case. Since this raises all the way up and back, I can use the space underneath it for another laptop (please see the pictures). I have currently four laptops, three docking stations and two large monitors and a KVM switch in my modestly designed desk. I am trying to optimize this space using laptop stands making my laptops accessible while still stacking them up. It is fairly balanced. You can comfortably put it under a 17 monster with no issues. Be careful though, if you do not put anything fairly heavy (like another laptop) over its base (under your laptop), you should not push the carrying legs too far back (especially with a big 17 incher) because it will fall back. My major concern with this stand is that it is considerably difficult to adjust as I mentioned, you will have to apply way too much force to adjust both the top surface and the bottom plane. So, you will have to grab it with both hands real tight and then adjust to the position you need, pulling and pushing. It is almost impossible to make final-touch adjustments once it is in-place. I do not recommend trying to adjust it with your computer on it because you risk damaging your laptop. Here is a quick summary: Sturdiness ***** Versatility **** Adjustability ***** Heavy-weight***** Easy-to-setup* Balance **** Flexibility ** Compactness ** Portability **

Bought this to set up an additional laptop to my office space. The stand is really sturdy and the laptop does not slip. The only complaint I have is that it is a bit hard to bend it up/down which is probably best in the long run.
