The sound was OK, it wasnt as loud but I only use it in the bathroom or kitchen, its been glitching a lot lately not sure why but other than that its OK

Has really good sound in a smaller package.

Great Little Speaker For the Price!

Connectivity very easy and Battery Life excellent

The speaker works as advertised, and it seems to be built well, but the sound is noticeably worse than the JBL I have, so Ive mostly stopped using the Soundcore speaker. Music sounds hollow and spoken voices in podcasts are noisier than they should be.

Overall, this is a great speaker. I use it almost every day while working out and/or while I’m in the shower. In the summer, I brought it to the pool without worry about it getting wet since it’s waterproof. I also bring it on trips to listen to music with friends since it is so compact. I have/had Sonos Roam and Bose SoundLink speakers and the sound on this is comparable, especially considering the price difference. The Bluetooth connectivity is very seamless with my iPhone 12.

Personal use

It sounds pretty good for a small speaker. My main annoyance with other small speakers I’ve bought are: really bright indicator or decorative lights, and a jarring and loud sound when powering the speaker on and off. This does ok on the former. I keep it by my bed and don’t want night lights. Decorative color led’s have good configuration options, and the ability to turn them off. Power and Bluetooth buttons are too bright, so I drew over them with a sharpie to make them dimmer. Regarding sounds at power on and off, this is better than any I’ve tried. Although you can’t turn the sounds off (why not??), they are quiet enough to not be a source of annoyance. I can turn it off while my spouse is soundly sleeping and it won’t wake him up. All in all, it works for me.

The units are every bit as good as other reviewers have said, but SOUNDCORE needs to rethink their whole European communications paradigm. The manual that comes with the speakers has practically no verbal information only stylized illustrations and icons similar to traffic and public services signage all over Europe. I wound up getting useful instructions for pairing the speakers from the listed questions-and-answers on the product page on Amazon. Once paired successfully, the speakers were brilliant (as the British say) for just over a month. Then one day, they wouldnt pair with my device (a Kindle Fire). Through a system of trial-and-error, I figured out that one of the speakers was not extending its Bluetooth handshake - not even to the other speaker. The manual was useless, the product Q&A didnt mention the problem, and I couldnt find any support online. Finally, I remembered that there is an Amazon 90-day warranty, so I clicked the get support box on my purchase record, and somebody called me within 30 seconds to trouble-shoot the problem. It turns out that if a single speaker is acting up, all you need to do is turn it on, turn on the Bluetooth switch, and then hold down the + key (sound volume) for 15 seconds - and the unit does a reset. Problem solved - thanks to Amazon - and no thanks to SOUNDCORE.

This speaker is a nice sounding speaker the problem I had is slow audio latency peoples lips dont match to the sound I was not happy and returned. Update this companies customer service is stellar and they sent a replacement speaker and it was a step up from the soundcore flare mini speaker it was the soundcore flare free of charge and I am impressed with the sound quality of this speaker I am really happy with this and considering buying another flare to enhance the great sound the one produces and I want to thanks Anker and there great products and customer service.
