An SSD at this capacity is a steal (2 TB model). I dont have the knowledge and diagnostics to see how this compares to the more popular and expensive SSDs on the market, but as someone that is moving from a regular HDD for gaming I can say that the speed difference is night and day. The only question is durability. Ive been using it heavily for about a month now. I have no complaints so far but Ill come back and update this review if anything happens.

Excellent deal at that low price!

Purchased six of these drives for use in building out an all-flash TrueNAS box. Ive got several of the 1TB version that Ive used with some pretty limited success, they seem to work fine on SCALE but are a bit temperamental so far on CORE. Physical installation is no different than any other drive of this size/form factor. The caveat here is that I seemed to have received drives with two different underlying hardware builds. Three of the six drives report in as 1.82 TiB, the other three are reporting in as 1.86 TiB. Not the end of the world ending up with mismatched vdev sizes, but not what one should need to expect or plan for when buying multiples of one item from a single listing.

Well worth the price. If youre a windows user dont waste your time trying to get their migration software from their website. They partner with someone who pulled the resource sonyou wont find it. Their packaging needs updating so thats why I deducted 1 star. Search reflect 8 for good free software. Me as a linux user, quick & easy. Everything worked fast. Gparted or DD works fine.

I put the new 1TB drive in a Sabrent USB enclosure and used Clonezilla to make a copy of my laptop 240GB Windows drive. Swapped out the drive and it works perfectly. 4x the size and at least as fast as the original 240GB drive. This is the second 1TB drive I have purchased from this seller and both are perfect. I will buy more of these in the future.

Wanted to pick up MSFS 2020, and knew that all the files would be too much for my boot drive. Had a second 7200rpm hard drive, but it was noticeably slower than an SSD. Bought this as well as an SSD to USB-4 cable, and am able to use this drive for all the game files with read and write times on par with my internal SSD.

Got this to upgrade my external hard drive for my Xbox series x and it is a noticable improvement. Note that you will need a sata to USB 3.0 cable to use on xbox.

It worked just as I hoped it would
