The build is ok for the price. The metallic parts are a bit thin, hence it feels a bit flimsy and you need to use a bit more strength. Again, the price is right.

Im using this roller to apply ink jet prints of fine art photos onto self-adhesive gatorboard. You only get one chance to apply the print without air bubbles. This roller is perfect for gently rolling the print flat, the first time with no bubbles, starting from the middle and working out to the edges. This makes the work easy and fast, without damaging the print. Great purchase.
