My Samsung S20 phone was draining fast so I needed a fast charger just like the OEM wall charger. The standard USB-A to C works but was slow, regardless of the stated high output. The USB-C to USB-C was the solution. It now charges super fast, just like the wall charger. So definitely go with a USB-C to USB-C if your phone supports that input.

Wish it came with a cable. Charges much faster than what I had. Pleased with it given everything is expensive.

With a USB-C PD3.0 27W spec I was expecting to get super fast charging for my Samsung phones (Galaxy Z Fold 4 y Galaxy S22) but it wasnt the case. Samsung phones are rated at 25W and thats what it makes it incompatible since the phone will negotiate the input power and lower it getting only regular fast charging. Also worth noticing is that phones will overheat while charging as a result of negotiating power (this doesnt happen with other chargers like Belkin. Note: It was tested in different vehicles using different cigarette lighters and cables. End result is the same. Returning it.

This is very useful to keep in the car. There are still persons using USB A chargers, this allows us to use both and not have unnecessary e waste (ok its a small impact, but it matters). I use this together with the Spigen Dura Sync 3 cable (separate purchase) to occasionally give my iPhone 12 a charge for no longer than 15 - 20 minutes. Sometimes i may have a friend in car who also needs a charge, the Dura Sync makes it easy to charge other phones as well. This is perhaps the most practical and efficient car charger you can get, but as a rule of thumb, i never charge phones in the car for more than 20mins at a time, just my habit, I have no data that suggests its good or bad to charge that way.

This review is for the Spigen USB C Car Charger, 45W Dual Port Car Charger. This charger has performed very well and I am completely satisfied with this purchase. This charger has two ports that allows me to share the charger with a passenger. The main 27W port charges modern phones via a USB-C cable very quickly. The other 18W port is for the older USB-C-to-A cables, and also charges quickly. Cables are not included. I have purchased fast chargers that were not at all fast and were junk. This charger is not one of those.

This 45watt (27 +18) handles both USB-A & USB-C devices.
