I played Spikeball several times on friends sets and always loved it. When I finally got my own I decided to go with the pro set based on the very good reviews here on Amazon. The upgraded balls, ball pump, and backpack make the pro set worth the extra cost. Walking to the park Im able to keep my keys, wallet, water bottle, etc in the Spikeball backpack. I wasnt aware the regular set did not include a pump until I saw that my friends had to use bicycle hand pumps to inflate their balls. The pump that comes with the pro set works well and is a logical thing to carry with the game. The pro balls have an added grippy texture that allows for adding backspin to the serve. I saw a couple reviews here that really made me laugh. Particularly the lady who complained that her 4 adult sons broke the set while playing, and somehow blames that on the manufacturer. If an adult man lands on a plastic component with his full weight, its going to break. Thats not the fault of the manufacturer.

I really like spike ball and was excited to have the pro series for it durability. When I set up the net I found the net to be falling apart and seems to be smaller than the cheaper spike ball set. The frame is very durable but the net is falling apart right out of the box.

Didn’t notice much difference with the playing but the durability is miles above standard kit. Had a volley and ended up stepping right on the net and it collapsed down to the ground and only needed to be re adjusted

There needs to be an age group shown if you are really going to use it the way it is suppose to be played. My granddaughter is 8 and she and her Dad play catch with it. It will help with softball

Absolutely LOVE the Pro set. It feels sturdier and more official than the regular set. If you are even considering the Pro, just do it. Simply a pleasure to play on. I love the upgraded carrying bag it comes with, and also all the additional accessories! Thanks, Spikeball!

Purchased as a gift. This is exactly what was wanted.

Ordered the pro model to have a pump. The pump was broken on delivery. The rubber squeeze piece has a small tear. Frustrating and disappointed as this was a graduation gift. There is no way to contact the seller to get a replacement pump and no way to order just the pump. Ugh!
