> 3 dayI am a finish carpenter and I have used a a lot of tools, but this nailset is by far my favorite tool ever. As part of my job I install a lot of baseboard, crown, etc, using really hard woods. Most of the time the nail gun will set the nails, but every once in a while I will get a nail that doesnt sink all the way. The reason I love the SpringTools nail set is that it allows me to do all of my work without having to carry a hammer. The Spring nail set doesnt just work as well as a typical hammer and nailset, I have found that it works better. I can more accurately place the spring nailset without having to worry about it slipping off of the nail and putting a hole in the wood. Because of the spring, I fill like I am getting a stronger hit then a hammer can provide, without any added shock. The spring has the same affect as a deadblow. I have been using the same one for years, and it only has a small chip in the metal.

> 3 dayVery cool little nail set. Drives nails in very easily. I wish I had bought one years ago. Really comes in handy. Much easier to use than a hammer and a steel punch. Practice with it a little bit and youll be a pro.

> 3 dayIve done carpentry work almost my entire adult life and how Id never seen one of these until a few months ago, I dont know. But as soon as I saw someone use one I bought it. It now has a permanent spot in my tool belt and my regular nailsets havent left my toolbox since.

Greater than one weekI have oak hardwood floors throughout my home, and from time to time I have nail pops where a nail starts sticking-up. Very annoying. In the past Ive gone out to the garage to get a nailset and a hammer. Now I have this, I keep it in a drawer in the kitchen and grab it. Super fast, no hammer needed and in 10-seconds the nail-pop is fixed. (now if I could only figure out how to stop nail-pops in the first place...)

> 3 dayAs the headline states... I dont use this tool often. But it never lets me down when I need it. It has plenty of spring power. And it is very durable. Add one to your tool collection.

Greater than one weekGood tool for setting finish nails that are proud of the surface. I use it baseboards and door casings mostly. Works well.
