My grandson got his fingers pinched in the one we had which was a regular chain but this is rubber coated which makes that possibility go away. This was the main reason I bought it.

Great solid swings,colors are bright and the chains are soft touch on the little ones hands. I would just take them down after season so that the chains dont get sticky
