> 3 dayI am 45 and Ive been shaving since I was a teen, but when my hair started falling out in my early twenties I began shaving my head too. This cream provides nice thick lather on a badger hair brush that flows smoothly onto my face and head providing excellent glide and protection for my face while using my Merkur safety razor. The consistency of the cream isnt runny with proper water use, and about 3/4s a teaspoon goes a long way. The smell of the cedar in the cream is wonderful, but the other scents within the creams makeup provide a crisp clean scent and feeling that lasts throughout the day. Taylor of the Old Bond has some great products, but St. James is definitely a step up to being nearly in the same category of shaving creams by Castle Forbes and Truefitt & Hill without their prices. Great product.

> 3 dayExcellent shaving cream with a wonderful woody scent. It whips easily into a lather and loads the brush easily with enough for several passes. The scent lasts a little longer than most and leaves the skin feeling moisturized. Its a winner.

> 3 dayI bought this product in a store and that version was much more firm as a thicker cream. The one I bought here is very thin and watery. It makes me suspect that they have purchased from the manufacturer and cut it with water to get twice as much shaving cream out of one jar. It’s extremely runny. Beware.

> 3 dayGreat product. Great scent and blade glide! Works as well as Truefitt and Hill. I shave my face and head so I need a product with extra protection…my rotation is 4 scents from St. James and two from TRUEFITT. I have tried almost EVERYTHING over the past 20 plus years of wet shaving, these two companies are my faves. TOBS gets an honorable mention and CELLA is my go to for travel. (Their red tub Almond is a great soap!)

> 3 dayIve been wet shaving all my life but just recently started shaving with a double edge safety razor. St.James Of London is a fantastic shaving cream. I use multiple shaving creams and this is my favorite by far. During the shave it leaves your face slick and does not dry up so you get a very smooth shave. The scent is very refreshing, The cender wood is very unique but not over powering. This is a luxury product but at a low price. Get it and you wont be disappointed!!!

> 3 dayIve tried a lot of different shaving creams and soaps over the years, Crabtree & Evelyn soap, Taylor of Old Bond Street soap, LOccitane en Provence Cade cream, but this time, one of my favorites, the Cade cream was out of stock and had been for some time, so I went looking for another. I found this St. James of London Cedarwood and Clarysage cream and Im glad my previous cream was out of stock. Ill stick with this one for as long as I can. One thing I noticed, right away, is how concentrated this shave cream is. A very tiny dab at the end of a wet brush (perhaps a dime size dab if your using your hands instead of a brush) gave me great lasting lather, that also smells great and makes my skin feel good afterwards. I use Thayers alcohol-free witch hazel as an after shave. I highly recommend this shave cream. Seems the Brits know how to make it best.
