So wonderful to get this key to start the gas logs in the middle of a cold spell in Memphis Tennessee. Little children had misplaced original key and we didnt know that the key was universal. Just be sure to get the right length!

The builder left a 3 inch key for a gas fireplace in our formal living room, a room that is rarely used. Because of a delayed painting issue in our family room where we normally put our holiday decorations, we decided to put the tree in the formal room. Lighting the fire might be nice, we thought. The key that has been sitting on the mantle for 14 years is way too short to turn on the gas. Amazon to the rescue! This key is great, sturdy, easy to use, and large enough that we probably wont lose it.

It is a strong fireplace key. I can feel precisely when it turns.

Its only been a couple months but so far so good. Snapped my last gas fireplace key and this replacement fits beautifully.

It is built well but make sure you measure your old one. This one is very short and wont fit anything I have but I am going to keep it because I didnt pay attention to the length.
