I never used metric but its so much easier than standard. I feel that when using this metric tape measure I can measure much more precise without having to remember 19 fractions in my head. You only have to remeber 1 number...and thats it. I used it for the first time on a tile job and let me tell you I didnt have to measure 2x to make sure. With this tool you can measure very precisely! Precision is what separates pros from joes... dont take my word take the leap and you ll never want to use a standard tape measure again. Dont buy the smaller one buy the 10m model so you dont need a bigger one later.

Good tape as i learn the metric system,plus it is a Stanley.I just wished that they make one like this people that are left handed,because i truly love this tape.

measuring in millimeters is so much easier than dealing with fractions. An inch / metric combo is okay except for the time when you need the register marks to span the entire width of the tape blade.

Tired of using the inbred Kings unit of measurements? Tired of trying to figure out what the hell is 3/10 of an inch or 6/10 of an inch while trying to be very precise with your conduit bending try metric its all based on tens. Remember our country broke off from the crown centuries ago you dont need to use the kings foot no longer. And its a Stanley FatMax tape measure.

last one lasted 4 years in harsh environment even when dropped from 4 feet to a concrete floor multiple times {on accident} it still worked great these FAtmax tapes are very worth the money

Thia is not an easy item to find in backwards united states. A true metric tape measurer. Awesome quality.

They had to ship this to me from Germany. The package was open on both ends and when I picked it up, the tape fell out. Traveled a third of the way around the world like that. And people complain about the mails.
