Starrett Complete Snug Assembly with Post Hole - 1/4 and 3/8 Holes - PT18724

Quality wise it is a good product. I am still waiting for another item so I could check how it fits with 3/8 round bars.

Like everything else they make there is no higher quality. Simply the best there is.

I already have three of these. But I wanted one more. Because Im needy. And a little greedy.

Worked great for my dial indicator. I used it with a mighty mag, another Starrett Snug, and a Starrett rod set.

Fit, finish, and function as expected with Starrett. Did the job, no issues, works smoothly, bores fit rods closely and finish typical Starrett.

I bought an off brand a few years back. The thing is trash already. Im a surface grinder in a gage shop so this gets used all day, every day. The Starrett just feels so much better. Would buy or recommend to anyone.

Its a little fiddly to use at first, where it seems you either over or under tighten it causing the indicator to droop easily or be impossible to move without shifting other things, but once you hit the sweet spot, its amazing.
