I am always a little skeptical about innovative computer items, having been bitten a number of times. Example; USB to HDMI convertors, usually as reliable as a 1990s PCs! Anyway, this item is awesome. The easiest way to use this device is to plug your USB into the source slot (slot 1) and the intended copy or copies into slots 2 and/or 3. Press the power-on button and it quickly boots up, finds the original USB in slot 1 and with no further instructions from you, it clones all the data on the original to the USBs in slots 2 and/or 3. What I really like about this is that it erases everything on the USBs in slots 2 and 3 and you dont have to screw around with multiple copies on the same flashdrive. This is a stand alone device and your PC is not involved. Fantastic.

I am not a technical person at all. I had to search for something that was easy and would help me duplicate thumb drives quickly. This did the job!

Easy to use, worked perfectly. I bought 20 bulk 128 mb flash drives, copied 100 mb of files onto first one. Then I used the Star Tech duplicator to make the other 19 (identical to first). I Formatted (FAT-32) them and then used Copy & Compare. All worked correctly. I verified the copies on a computer later.

I use this item to copy usb and the first time did great, then I went for a second time and won’t copy. I talked to amazon but my window to return just closed, they told me to contact the buyer because it’s still under warranty. I’m doing so, will update once I have a response from them.
