> 3 dayI bought a Fat rack and a Classic rack through Amazon Warehouse. One of the racks shipped without the mounting hardware but I had similar bolts on hand and used those. I contacted the manufacturer via their website and they said they would ship out the hardware to me asap. These racks are fantastic. Loading the bikes into the racks is so easy, and it keeps the bikes out of the way. My fatbike is 30# with 3.8 width summer tires and the bike fits securely. I have 4.5 width winter studded tires that the rack would appear to take but I wont know for sure until I switch tires again. Mounting the rack was fairly easy although I did watch a few YouTube videos first. The brace for the rear wheel is obviously too narrow for the tire to sit in, but it does hold the bike steady when you pivot the rack to the side. I am now looking to buy the MTB version. The rack is expensive but if you can get it on sale it helps the emotional damage. Overall its worth it. Edited 12Jul21 - The 4.5 studded tires do fit - anything larger would not. Still very happy with the purchase

> 3 daySee my detailed product review for the regular Steadyrack. I love it. As for the Fender Rack specifically, I read about possible interference of the fender supports & the rack, when placing the bike on the rack & how to handle that. The first time I put my bike up, I encountered this interference, but I have to chalk that up to the simple learning curve - because it hasnt happened since that first day. One thing to be prepare to address: When I pop my bike up to get my front tire on the rack, my rear fender hits the concrete floor. (The grinding noise is enough to let you know youre scraping paint off the fender. Mine wasnt too brutal, but it could have been worse.) My beach cruiser is 44 lbs. so its not necessarily easy to lift it up. I place a small rubber mat on the floor there when I put my bike on & off the rack. Even a thin rubber-backed rug would be enough, but its certainly something to be aware of... This is not enough reason to avoid the purchase. Just prepare for it. This product is solid and it works great to organize our family bikes. Photo attached.

> 3 dayNice rack, easy to install, pivot feature is very nice and makes it easier to mount in an odd or unused space. The rack straight out of the box felt a little flimsy, but the support from the massive stud bolts really stiffens the rack up and makes it impressive. Very little flex when folding and unfolding, no bounce when the bike is mounted. The pivot is smooth and feels stable. Im glad I mounted it before I made any decisions. The only reason for the -1 star is that my rack came in an undamaged and taped box, but one of the end caps that cover the mounting screws was not in the box when I opened it. The whole thing works without the second end cap, but is isnt as pictured and I dont know if there is only supposed to be one.

> 3 dayAn amazing product. The way the bike snugs against the wall, it utilizes the space extremely efficient. In the past, which ever way I stored the bicycle (plainly leaning it against the wall) it always seemed to take so much garage space. Now, I cant believe how little space it uses - where one bicycle fit in previously I can now fit two of them and to top it all the area visually seems pleasantly uncluttered. Removing / storing the bike is a snap too as opposed to my initial idea / concept of ceiling suspension which would have involved a winching system of some sort (read - additional clutter). Owing one only bicycle at the moment (I always felt there is not enough space in my garage for two so I always procrastinated the purchase of a second one), I actually bought two of these brackets with the peace of mind that I can now purchase the second bicycle (for my wife) and have ample storage space for it. Edited for clarity and mistakes.

> 3 dayIf the company sends me another lag screw it will go to 5 stars. Sent an email to them questioning the size rack I should get and never received an answer. Bought a classic and hope that when I upgrade my bike this will fit the new one. Easy install and I can swerve the bike out of the way of the cars and a door for storage in the garage. Really perfect for our situation. Company responded and sent a new screw set immediately. Have had it up for a little over a month now and works great. Our garage is small, barely fits the cars and love that this turns so the bikes are out of the way.

> 3 dayBought two and realized how good this product is. So I bought another three and put all five bikes on the garage wall. Really sturdy, not the usual foreign junk. Super easy to install. Worth every penny!

> 3 dayWe live in a small condo and have 2 bikes. They are folding bikes which makes it a bit more challenging. Storing them was always awkward at best before I found these racks. We used all sorts of other rack systems before. These ones are easy to install. They are SO practical. Very well designed. Super easy to put a bike in and out, no matter what kind of bike. They tuck out of the way when not in use. And they even rotate so I can store stuff between the bikes! I almost never rate things 5 stars but these racks have earned it!

> 3 dayGreat for saving space without compromising accessibility. No more ‘ceiling hoist’ racks requiring Dad to get the bikes down. Now everyone, including my kids, get their own bikes down AND put them away Pros: - Easy to use - Quick access saves time - saves space - Allows bikes to swing or pivot against the wall - Bikes can be mounted as close as 14” apart and still pivot against the wall - Relatively simple installation and online videos available - Simple to put bike up and down Cons: - not the cheapest solution - Drywall anchors included are inadequate (try and use a wall stud) I use the fender racks to hold two 26” beach cruisers with large front fenders. The bikes are held vertically with the rear tire just off the ground. Just tip the bike up on its rear wheel and roll it onto the rack. Then swing the bike to the side until the handlebar is against the wall (tires remain against wall while bike rotates side to side). Installation considerations: - Installation instructions state bikes can mount as close as 14”. This works for similar bikes (two beach cruisers or two mountain bikes), but with different types the handle bars can interfere with each other. You need to move them farther apart or stagger one higher off the ground (impacts ease of storage/retrieval) - Drywall anchors included are totally inadequate. Do not use these to mount into Sheetrock without a stud. I used Snaptoggle anchors (Home Depot, etc.). One reviewer marked this product down for the poor wall anchors. This isn’t unique to this product, included anchors are usually junk. Weight bearing items usually mount to a wall stud for support. I prefer not to pay extra for a product to include quality anchors, and if needed I purchase my own. If your priorities are space and convenience I strongly suggest you look at this rack. The ceiling racks I used were hard for my wife and I to use, and way too difficult for my kids. The bikes just weren’t getting used. I hope this review is helpful in selecting a bike storage solution.

14-04-2025I have a small garage and this product will help me keep floor space and it should be easy to store the bike without having to lift it up onto something. Just wheel it up on the back wheel. It’s winter here in Wisconsin so my brother and I installed it and we wheeled the bike in place hence the bike won’t be used for a few months so I can’t give a 100% testimony of the racks functioning but I like it so far. So far so good!

> 3 daySpent a lot of time researching and testing bike storage systems... couldnt be happier with these. They cost a lot compared to rubber-coated hooks. But, unlike that cheap option, these are rock-solid, dont scrape your rims and make loading and unloading your bike as easy as rolling it. Additionally, the ability to swing the bikes allowed me to mount them 16 apart (perfect for attaching to studs), even mountain bikes with really wide handlebars. The only gripe I have is with the installation instructions. The method for calculating the mounting height is *way* off, especially for bikes with large tires. I had to add 2.5 inches for my mountain bikes and 1.5 inches for my dual sports with road tires. For bikes with big tires, it is extremely important that the rear tire not be touching the ground, or your bike will roll off the rack. Pros - Super compact storage due to swinging mount - Unbelievably easy to roll on and off... no lifting at all - Rock-solid construction - Feels like its worth more than it cost (and it aint cheap!) - Looks like they belong in a pro bike shop or the lobby of a trendy Silicon Valley start up - All hardware included, even for concrete and masonry walls Cons - Installation instructions may only be for road bikes, so your mileage may vary - Seriously, thats it
