I bought this to make a key for an Axle on a Murray riding lawn mower. This stock is a little wider than what i needed but with some filing and sanding, got it down to the size i needed to fit the axle slot. I have plenty more now since you basically get a bout a foot of this stuff

I got this to make a new makers mark and it worked like a champ for the 1/2 range. Price given what it is... meh.

Wrong size/ remember tolerance

What can you say? Its 3/16 square stock. Seems within tolerances, and works well for my purposes. I use this mainly for aligning vintage Sunbeam Mixmaster brush holders. With the armature and brushes (3/16 square carbon) removed, shove this in one brush holder and out the other, set it straight to the mixer body, tighten the set screws, and voila! Both holders are lined up properly with the commutator and each other. Nice.
