The umbrella seems to be made well with a good automatic mechanism. It is to be a Christmas present so we do not know how well it works in the wind yet.

Not sure about durability, just got it

I have had this umbrella about 2 months now and I really love it! It keeps the rain out of my face! I live on a hill and whenever it rains it gets super windy and this umbrella has been a lifesaver for sure. I have also received a lot of compliments on the cute cats on my umbrella, which is always a plus! I feel like the plastic used could be a little bit thicker, but I am really happy with it over all!
