> 3 dayI wish it was 100% paper but nevertheless, it is a great product.

20-04-2025Of all the college supplies in my daughters box, *this* was the one she grabbed and wouldnt put down. She loves this sketch book (and has had in the past and carried everywhere to take class notes, draw and create -- and create drawings *from* class notes!). The pages are thick and smooth, the binding is strong. Its really a treasure to have all of those wonderful creations bound together!

> 3 dayYou really cant go wrong with Strathmore. This watercolor book is amazing. The paper is super thick and handles a lot of water and reworking. Ive bought more in other sizes.

> 3 dayAt first, I was a little hesitant to buy this sketchbook since I could get some arches watercolor paper for around the same price, but let me just say this book is so worth it!! So far Ive done 2 sketchbook paintings in here, one on the front page and the one you see in the picture on the back side of that same page since both the front and back are watercolor paper! And it didnt reactivate the paint on the other side at all! The paper also didnt warp one bit, and I work with a lot of layers and glazes to achieve smooth skin. Overall, Im very impressed with this paper and I highly recommend it! The only thing is, its not 100% cotton, but it IS acid free so you can still get a beautiful result.

> 3 dayI am very happy with this sketchbook. The paper quality is very good and it can take watercolor like a champ; even on both sides of the same sheet. I have yet tested it with alcohol markers, but would imagine some bleedig will occur. Overall very nice everyday sketchbook.

> 3 dayLays flat, cover bends back on itself. When I want to work large and in watercolor, this is the journal I go for!

> 3 dayGreat price for practice. But not for professional use. The paper cannot absorb enough water and colors can’t spread smooth on the top. One good for wet on wet technique but if you only paint one layer of color, it’s ok.

> 3 dayUgh. I really wanted to like this. Sadly, the cons outweigh the pros, as far as Im concerned, because they more heavily affect the use of the notebook-the actual watercolor painting.
