> 3 dayThis review is for Streamlight 44943 Siege 200 Lumen Ultra-Compact Work Lantern (Yellow, 3xAA Battery): Update Feb 2021 - I am correcting my previous review as I made an error. It appears someone in my family stuck quite a few drained AA batteries back into the new battery dispenser/holder that I have mounted on the wall. My initial review stating this light had failed after minimal use was therefore inaccurate. The light had, in fact, not failed at all. The batteries, OTOH, had failed completely (2 sets worth that I rotated through trying to confirm the device had failed). I should have tested the batteries with the voltmeter as the final step before I wrote my prior entry. So, still love this light. It has the right amount of light for its intended use (illuminating small areas), decent battery life ~37is hours on low (50 lumens), and higher settings up to 200 lumen does a great job illuminating an entire room (at the cost of battery life). Would recommend for use when camping or as a illumination back up during a power outage. The light has several built in mounting points to include three strong magnets AND a gated clip built into the base, as well as swing up handle that doubles as a hanging bar on top. Ill also add it feels sturdy and yet lightweight. I do wish the diffuser could collapse down to save on space, but it is worth noting that the diffuser is a thick plastic and works very well. Light specifications per Streamlights website (keep in mind there are a few different versions of the Siege lamp - this one is the AA 200 lumen model): White LED (one C4® LED) with cover removed: - High for brightest light: 200 lumens; runs 7 hours - Medium for bright light and longer run time: 100 lumens; runs 15.5 hours - Low provides extended run times for when less light is needed: 50 lumens; runs 37 hours Red LED (two red LEDs) -Red LED High (night vision preserving mode): 0.7 lumens; runs 192 hours (8 days) -Flash SOS mode for emergency signaling: 0.7 lumens; runs 288 hours (12 days) I have not tested the above run times with a watch, but did use the lamp during Texas Snowmagedon when we went several days without power - Id agree theyre accurate. Pics were shot at 100 ISO so the outdoor pics are a little blurry as I was trying to keep the light/darkness balance accurate to the environment that night: Daylight/Indoors: Magnetically mounted on narrow metal floor lamp post, Hanging upside down from bottom clip (top carry handle also extended), pics showing the diffuser top removed with both the Red and White LEDs Night/Outdoors - Magnetically mounted on a fence metal pole using Red LED, and White LED on High and Low settings (no medium setting pics), ====================================== Old, Inaccurate Review (left 2 star rating) Initially we loved this light. Right amount of light for its intended use (illuminating very small areas), decent battery life ~37 low (50 lumens). Initially purchased for a camping trip that never happened, it found a role as a back up light for power outages. Last used during Texas Freezemagedon (after which the batteries were again removed and the light stored in the closet for next time). Unfortunately, I went to use it last week when I needed to illuminate the area while I did a repair on a bedroom ceiling light and found it no longer worked. Will be reaching out to their Warranty Department for their Limited Lifetime Warranty and will update my rating pending that interaction.

> 3 dayAfter watching the product video we decided this was the lamp for our camping trip. It was everything we could have hoped for. Light weight, portable, easy to hang in our tent, had multiple brightness options perfect for our needs (i.e. reading, getting ready for bed, as a night light), alkaline batteries lasted a long time, and so on. When were not camping we plan on using it as an emergency light if/when there is a power outage. The engineers of this light really put a lot of effort into this product. Very happy with it.

Greater than one weekOutstanding light. On a recent camping trip I compared it up against my propane lights that cost more for mantels, fuel and gas than this light. I am putting my propane lanteerns on Craigslist.

> 3 dayNice small, compact lantern. Batteries easy to install. Nice and bright, has various brightness settings. After three days of no power during Hurricane Matthew we discovered we needed more lanterns -- smaller lanterns -- to tote around or place in dark rooms.

> 3 dayI’m an automotive technician and have been using stream light products for years. Their flashlights are the best in the business and after running them over, leaving them on cars and finding them in a ditch or on the road later they still keep working. These lanterns are no slouch either. I gave these little ones to our daughter and her cousins for birthday presents because we like to do some camping and she likes to tag along well lit up! Awesome product, durability is killer and 100 percent recommend this to anybody looking, you won’t be disappointed!
