Streamlight 74611 Strion DS HL

Bought this for my friend who is blind as f***. He needs a light to do just about everything and loves these stream lights.

Flashlight was chrome not black as advertised!!!!

Apparently, I didnt realize that this was so small. I really wanted the Stinger model but chose this because of a slight discount. Its not bad just smaller and not as bright. I believe its less 200 lumen. I dont want to go through the hassle of a return and risk it ending up in a landfill, just to get the Stinger, so Ill keep it. I love the car charger that comes with it for driving over the mountains which we have to do occasionally. Update: Our power went out and it lit up the house nicely. I like it a lot more now that Ive used it for a while. The fact that its so small and light is really nice! So if that interests you, go for it!

I have had many streamlights, this light didnt come up short on quality! Very bright for a somewhat smaller light. Lights up a large area more so than a spot. I mounted the 12v charger in the center console of my truck. the battery lasts well even in the cold. Recommended!

This is the brightest light I’ve ever used. I use it every night when I take my dogs outside. Recharging takes quite a few hours. When the battery discharges to a certain point, the light just shuts off without any warning. For that reason I wouldn’t recommend it for law enforcement or public safety use. The light is pre-programmed for three different brightness levels and also can flash in a strobe pattern. The light can also be programmed by the user to different sequences. It has two different on-off switches which is handy. If it wasn’t for the fact that it just shuts off when the battery is depleted, it would be a great tactical flashlight.

My wife hates all the flashlights Im buying. Just moved on a boat and want reliable and bright everywhere I need one. As in.. when you need one you want a good one. That said. this rocks.. putting 20 around the boat is to expensive... BUT.. this is the goto flashlight when needed.

Well worth the price...great for patrol and just overall around the house....highly recommend!

TERRIBLE battery life. Goes out quick from a full charge. The button stopped working. This is all within a span of less than a month. Unfortunately, return window closed. Extremely disappoint for the price i paid. Absolutely do NOT recommend this product.
