Greater than one weekIm now on my 3rd one of these... not because they die, because the previous ones were stolen!!! I have been using these flashlights for the past 15 years, and they are great! They are VERY bright and can shine a LONG distance. Sometimes its a little too bright when used up close. But if you hold the button, it toggles between 3 brightness modes. If you double click the button, it goes into strobe mode (great for safety and self defense). I often have to climb into attics and sometimes it has saved me a trip across the attic because I can see what I need from the ladder. And speaking of ladders, this flashlight has fallen out of bags and off of roofs while barely getting a scratch on it! VERY durable! The battery life is VERY long and the charger allows for charging either the battery or the flashlight itself. I prefer to get a spare battery that way I can swap them out and not have to wait for it to finish charging.

Greater than one weekFlashlight works good. Work in a shop, coworkers warned me of this model for burning batteries. What I have noticed is swapping the battery out for the secondary one every other day leaves the light working great. Good bright light. Tough flashlight and cheaper here than a matco or snapon dealer.

Greater than one weekIve bought several of these over the years, not due to failure, because people steal them due to their awesomeness. Great battery life, adjustable brightness. Greatest of all time.

> 3 dayMy wife and kids got me this for Christmas. Yes...it was on my list. The wife was floored when she saw the price. They have bought me many flashlights over the years. Many were cheap and didnt last long; bulbs broke when dropped, internal connections failed or didnt make contact until you smacked the flashlight against your hand, the light output would fluctuate, etc, etc. In addition my son has a habit of playing with the flashlights. Hes either exploring or playing light sabers or whatever so not only was it difficult to find a flashlight when needed but they were always dead or had just enough battery power to make me think they worked only to die two minutes later. VERY frustrating!!! Then, of course, I never had enough new batteries or had to hunt for them... Yes...this is a serious investment for a flashlight but ask any person who has one if they regretted spending the money for it and I bet you will not find a single person. These are small, maybe slightly longer than the average 2D-cell flashlight - yes the $6 one you have in your kitchen drawer. But its more powerful then my 6D-cell Maglight. You can hold down the on button and the light output will step down so its not so bright. I thought this was a gimmick but installing speakers in my truck this weekend proved it was not as at full power the reflection off surrounding surfaces was too bright. Reducing the output made it perfect!!! Plus, this has the backup battery always charging. I love it so much I have already asked for a 2nd one for my birthday in February!! One for the house, one for my truck. Then when camping season starts - yep, I will add another for the trailer!! EDIT (follow-up): I still consider this one of the best purchases Ive ever made! Hard to believe someone could get so geeked about a flashlight but I love (both of) mine (see comments)!!

Greater than one weekVery good flashlight. Rubber ring is crap but the light itself is the best flashlight Ive worked with.
