worked great for the first 9 months, i use this flashlight five days a week for a good amount of time at a clip.worked for awhile after it was dropped. but after 10 months the flashlight would turn on then turn right off, or i would try to turn it on and it wouldnt turn on. in my job i need to have a reliable flashlight. its a good flashlight for around the house, not a good one for active use in law enforcement.

First off fast delivery of product. When I received the product, it already had a charge. I used this light at work.Its very bright when trying to see under a bus or in the engine compartment of the bus. It takes a while for the charge to go down due to it being l.e.d. I had lost my other light like this one but it was incadesent. This is a lot brighter than the old one. I also like the strobe feature, by pushing to power button twice you have a saftey feature when out on the road at night or early morning in case of break down like at my job when a bus goes down & need to see or keep traffic from making you roadkill. You will be disappointed better than any light there. Popular light at my job working on buses.

The folks that design and manufacture the Streamlight flashlight have developed a reputation for producing extremely durable, reliable flashlights, particularly the LED lights. I currently own 3 LED flaslights and Ive owned several of the original Streamlight flashlights in the past (largely because other mechanics in the shop I worked in lost/stole them!) Currently, I dont loan my light to anyone but my wife! Good job folks, keep up the good work!

I love this light! This light is super bright, and perfect for almost anything outside! I used this while delivering pizza at night and it exceeded my expectations! Had a great battery life, very durable, I’ve dropped it a few times, minor scratching but still works as new! It was recently stolen, so I will have to buy a new one, but if you need a light, get this!

I tell you I have been using streamlight products for some time now my last light was the original stinger after a couple of years they came out with an LED conversion kit I bought and installed it worked wonderfull I was at the point where I was either going to have to purchase new batteries or upgrade I figured since I have had this light for so long I would upgrade let me tell you this was a great choice to move into I have heard some negative thoughts on the LED DS model so i went with the older model singal switch this light is great have had no problems if this one goes for as many years as the original is the next test if you need a good dependable light its worth every penny just remember what batteries cost for the lower end flashlights out there and how many are not as rugged and durable as streamlight so if your in the market of quality and craftsmanship then this is your product

This thing is so powerful and bright you could literally do damage to someones eyes. Ive only had it a couple of days and Im conditioning the batteries. They seem to last about 2 hours when left on continuously...pretty weak the last 10 minutes. It does come with the piggyback charger and an extra battery, but Im at a loss regarding the rapid charge and different modes of brightness. There arent any options on the charger or flashlight for those. In any event, this is the most powerful battery I have ever used. Just be careful you dont hurt someone. Flashlights have come a long way since the early 80s when we were issued a huge plastic flashlight that took 4 D cell batteries and maybe provided 3% of what the Streamlight produces. And we replaced the batteries at the beginning of our shift each night.
