I’ve carried this light for approximately a year now. I used it almost every day. Initially I purchased it while working as a jailer, and found it was easy to carry, the two brightness settings helped with not blinding people as I checked doors, or turn up the intensity when needed. Once I moved to patrol I went to night shift, and usually used this for vehicle stops or walking around inside a dark room or residence. The throw isn’t very far. Anything past 10 yards and you’ll need to bump up to a stronger light if you need to see details like hands clearly. It doesn’t do great at cutting through photonic barriers, so when it comes to tinted glass or privacy glass this isn’t your guy. But I find it useful when I’m at a car side trying to read an ID, insurance, or write a citation. It doesn’t blind the person sitting in the car as I stand with the light over them, but if something changes and I need to see in the car quickly I can bump the light to high power. The way it came in the box was set up for a right hand carry. I swapped the clip with so it is on the same side as the switch. This makes it easy to pull out of my left pocket and immediately have my thumb in the right spot. This is think enough to conceal in your hand, but also hold in place while shooting if you don’t have a weapon light on a pistol. Again, the throw isn’t ideal, but it fits in a pinch. I like that the switch has a charging indicator built in. Plug it in, light turns red. Fully charged, light turns green. If you use it for just every day stuff, I can go a week or two without charging it and noticing it dimming. It doesn’t get to dim, but the high power setting goes away. It last me all through one 12 hour shift of pretty regular use, but I just slap it on a charger when I get home in the morning and it’s ready the next night. The only time I’ve seen this light actually drain the battery and die I was on a crime scene and stuck it in a cone turned on to help illuminate the cone so cars could see it. It stayed like that for probably an hour. I had used it prior to that call, and for the rest of the investigation for afew hours, so it lasted quite some time. My biggest gripe is probably that the USB-C port is on top and faces up. I wouldn’t be as concerned about it if had a cover on it. It’s completely exposed to the elements. The coating on the light is great. Down in Texas, the heat and sweat from being in a pocket hasn’t done to much wear to the coating, just on the edges which is to be expected. Even when the light is on for an extended amount of time, it’s not hot. The body can get alittle warm, but never unbearable. For $100ish bucks, it’s definitely worth it’s price. It’s not really designed to be a far out light, instead more of small jobs. If I lost today I’d be ordering another asap. Not only do I recommend to a friend, I’ve given a couple as gifts to friends.

Ive actually bought 3 of these now. Great pocket light. I use it in law enforcement to get my stinger off of my belt. Now 2 of my coworkers use and my girlfriend who is also LEO. tough light and bright.

For the longest time I have used the same battery powered pen style stream light as almost every mechanic I know. Recently decided to go rechargable and originally intended to get the rechargeable penlight until I saw this. So after some use my honest review would be that the battery life is excellent & charges quickly the light is average (but sufficiently bright) on the normal setting and can be boosted to full bright temporarily if needed. It is slightly bulkier but sits well in my pocket and the thumb switch never gets hit accidentally (A huge advantage to the pen lights for me because every time I would squat down it would end up clicking the top button/turning the light on/draining my battery without me realizing it) the only thing I dont like about this light is I cant put it in my teeth and use both hands to do something when I need to like I used to be able to (Granted I do still try but its like holding a 3/8th ratchet in your mouth) and the light could be a bit brighter. If I could go back I would probably just get the rechargeable pen light. But to each their own.

Have been using one in a shipyard environment for years now. It has been dropped into bilge water for 30 minutes before I was able to fish it out and it stayed on the entire time, no issues at all, just dried it off and kept going. I tend hold it my teeth when working with two hands and the charging port can get a bit slobbery but this has never affected it. I am attached to this light now and will be buying extras incase my current ol faithful ever bites the dust.

This flashlight is lightweight and durable. It is probably the brightest I’ve ever seeeln and owned.

I carried it two weeks at work and home and noticed it started getting harder to rotate the switch, to the point where it was uncomfortable. After inspecting it the switch was riding the frame cutout while rotating. Almost like too much “play” or movement in the switch. It could’ve just been defective but returned. The size was great I mainly carried offhand side rear pocket. I like when the light doesn’t turn horizontal in your pocket. Also sitting on it wasn’t nearly as bad compared to a cylindrical one. The light output was great at work but at home the low setting was a little too powerful. While left on for a while it didn’t get too hot though on the boost was noticeable but shuts itself down as advertised. If it was an inch shorter and had a more durable switch it would be a winner!

    Greater than one week

I was afraid it would be too bright and not having a focus adjustment for the beam it wouldnt be great for work. I was dead wrong. Its tough, has a great battery, is rechargeable, and has the perfect beam throw for close and far work. At 150 yards, it still lights up my way back yard and it also fits in the pocket great. I need about 4 more for the heck of it.

Ive been intrigued with the new flat lights coming out but as many reviews say, this particular design is just too long for EDC. Does not sit in a pocket well unless you have very deep pockets. After a few weeks of use at work and home, it found its uses for sure but It did not make the cut for my EDC line due to two main parts, 1) as noted it is just a bit too long, shrink it down a bit and we may have a game changer; 2) I needed a lower brightness level. If I used this in a tent in the middle of the night it would sear my retinas on the regular setting. Would like to see a Midnight/Low/Mid/Turbo, or at least L/M/T combo. Im still adjusting to the forward switch but Ive tended to prefer the tail switch. Regarding the turbo - this is the most impressive feature of this light, it is bright! I keep going back to my streamlight micro or olight i5. Hopefully there is a future generation of this light with some slight tweaks and I think it would be a 4-5 star from me.

This light is so bright that you do not want to shine it in anyones eyes. The description forgets to mention that its a 1000 lumens. Might be brighter than your cars headlights. Best part of it all its type c charger. I love it because im a android user and dont need an extra charger.
