> 3 dayI usually need to replace these every 2 years or so. The 2 I bought here lasted about 10 days each...BAD CHOICE of vendor.

Greater than one weekThis is all I needed and the cost was just over $13.00 and it works great. Dealer charged $70.00 to diagnose why the water heater would not light. Mobile-home Dealer wanted to sell the entire electronic assembly for over a $100.00. Glad I chose to wait and not have the dealer to install theirs. At least for my $70 I got them to show me how to replace the electrode. Took me almost 5 minutes to remove the old and install the new.

> 3 dayHeater Wouldn’t light, replaced with this and fired right up. The old one had a lot of carbon build up on igniter ends. Probably could of just used some light sandpaper to clean the carbon off and re-installed but for the low price might as well just buy new and not mess with it.

> 3 dayAppeared to be aftermarket or some other company makes it for Suburban. Different label packaging and sightly different part. The prongs where a little shorter than the original factory part so I used a screwdriver to bend the bracket slightly so get it in the correct position. Dont try to bend the prongs as you might damage the ceramic. My problem ended up being the circuit board but I had to at least try the lower cost part first. It will work though. Thanks
