She didnt want skates that looked like some girls in the neighborhood had so I returned the Walmart pair bought at Christmas. Ifinally found this pair on Amazon and she loves them and they dont look like every other pair every other kid has. I paid a little more but I dont regret it due to the adjustable size. She will get use of them for a long time. She had to get use to the brake being in the front but she is 9 so that didnt take long. She is glad she has them and they are unique compared to all the other girls skates. Worth the extra price.

I was skeptical about buying these for my absolute-beginner 7 yr old whos been begging for a pair of skates, but Im glad these are the pair we got. They dont feel cheap or easily breakable, which is nice because they were on the high end of my budget. I like that theyre adjustable so they can fit for a long time, making them even more budget friendly. I was also worried about the quality of the wheels. Its hard knowing what youre getting when you shop online. Turns out the wheels were great. Not too soft and not hard as a rock. And they glide smoothly. She loves that they light up when she skates! After a few tutorials on YouTube, and a few practice laps around the kitchen and patio, shes confident enough to skate up and down the sidewalk. Im sure if we werent in the middle of a pandemic, shed be a pro at the rink by now- and weve only had them for a few weeks! All in all, Im happy with this purchase.

My daughter loves them! She’s 4.5 and I got the small size. Sith the skate fully expanded, she can fit them perfectly. I believe they will last while she learns! The light up wheels are super cute! Comes with extra brake piece, laces and tools!
