These are actually VERY nice. Soft insulation. Dont know if they will remain soft over time, but new, VERY nice.

Encased in plastic so stiff they dont open

They should be a heavier gauge

Ive piddled around for years with the cheap packaged test leads with alligator clips. They always failed or rusted. I found these by accident and ordered a package. Then I ordered two more. They are so much better, the alligator clip is sturdy and the wire gauge is good for up to 15 amps. Im a Master Electrician and do a lot of trouble shooting. These are now the only alligator clip leads I carry. I do still need the smaller hook clips or wire puncture leads on some occasions as these are too heavy for crowded connections.
