We are using these lights in our backyard and front door. The original ones we bought were way to bright rebought a smaller wattage. They are convenient and have worked perfectly for about 4 months. We will be getting into our winter and will update it they stop working with the illinois winter temperatures.

This is a great D to D light bulb that works as expected. It turns on only when outside is fairly dark. Some may want it to turn on sooner but it works for me. At 11W (75W equivalent) it does not cost much to run it daily from D to D. The price I paid on Amazon is the best in the market. HD and Walmart prices dont even come close.

The fourth is SO sensitive that any noise or vibration (loud car on the road 125 feet away, drop something on the floor in the house, heater turns on, thunder, etc.) causes it to turn on. Mildly annoying...

Auto on-off for day and night..very bright, low wattage. Work flawlessly. Get bulb extenders and replace your old 6 trim rings with flush mount 4 rings available on Amazon for an excellent appearance. Highly recommend!

These are great!!! They do not detect motion they have light sensors engineered into them so that if you leave the switch in the “on” position your porch or flood lights will automatically turn on once they sense that the amount of light has diminished significantly. I have four of these installed for my front porch and another two in a flood light by my garage. Several months ago I moved quite a ways away from civilization and it is very dark out here. I left to run errands early in the day and it was dark by the time I returned home. It was very very dark and I didn’t leave any outside lights on, since it was daylight when I left. I ordered these that night after I found my way to the house. They have worked great since they arrived and I don’t have to worry about whether I turned on lights before I leave or wonder if I will be home before dark.

Purchased in October and have been pleased with bulbs so far. I really like the security of knowing when my family comes home after dark the outside floodlights are on. They turn on around dusk and off when the morning light hits them so it has eased our mind when being away for a couple of days there’s still the appearance someone is at home. Love that we don’t have to remember to turn them on and off.
