> 3 dayWe got the smaller, 18 version of this wooden beaded bird ladder for our dwarf hamsters, who we raise and show and our local fair every year, and we plan to continue ordering this type of toy (currently we have a subscription to the 29 ladder). The hamsters LOVE these. If you set it on its side in the cage, they have great fun weaving in and out of the holes between the rungs, and it looks SO CUTE when they do it. They will bury it a little, but continue to use the holes and make it part of their tunnels. If you set it up like a bridge, they will happily climb it. They also greatly enjoy chewing up the beads. I love how this item adds some cute color to the hamster cages, and you can bend it in any shape you want. For $6 or less, this is an excellent deal for a good quality item. Highly recommend for dwarf hamsters!

> 3 dayCame on time just as described. My main problem with this ladder is the clips they use. . . these are the cheap clips that I feel are not safe for my birds. . .other than that good product just replaced the clips

> 3 dayMy rats love to chew on it! But i cant use it as a bridge between platforms because the metal bends under the weight of my rats :/ i refashioned it to make it more into a hammock under one of their shelves so i could keep it around because its cute and they love to gnaw on it

> 3 dayI liked this product for my budgies but the only issue is the dye seems to rub off onto the birds.. they have red all over the tops of their heads after climbing around in it.

> 3 dayJust know in advance that this is more suited for larger birds. A parakeet might be okay with it, as well as small parrots of other sorts. The stepping bars are pretty big around and a little too far apart for my finches to enjoy. It can be attached at top and bottom to cage bars, and can be used as a ladder or bridge. It’s bendable, so can also be bent into other shapes. Something I really don’t like is that the first time you wash it, the bright colors run off and stain your hands and anything else they touch. I suppose these should be made of plastic pieces so they are washable. You have to be able to clean them, and the dyed wooden pieces don’t hold their color. Maybe there is a dye that would not run??
