The chain is just a metal dog chain and it came rusted! I cant even put this in my cockatoo cage until I replace the chain with a parrot safe metal... and I was forced to give it 1 star...

Wasnt sure if we were gonna like changing from a wooden pearch but this one is great. Just enough traction. If I could change one thing it would be a longer chain. I had to add to it so my macaw could pearch and have head room.

This was a disappointment. This was really meant for a parrot. I have cockatiel. He cant wrap his little claws around this (swing) perch. Too big and too heavy. Please provide instructions to return. The picture you show is misleading. Thank you

The package came as promised....also it was in great condition. It was exactly as the picture showed.. very happy...

Hard durable plastic (blue area). Perch (white area) sturdy and fits our macaw. Diameter of perch for feet and the chain height is appropriate. it fits well in a large bird cage. For now we have one in XXL dog kennel outside and a large parrot cage inside.Make sure to tighten the clamp/screws well- loves to chew anything. He loves the blue and red plastic rings-they’re sturdy also. Not 100% sure about nail care but we did notice we are trimming the claws less since we got the swing. Make sure to leave the swing out (visible and close by)first so the it’s gets used to it prior to hanging.
