My house is 5,000 sq ft and ALL WOOD FLOORS. i have long hair and we have 3 pups. This swiffer pad along with the swiffer is amazing. It is especially great at handling corners and molding! It is worth every penny for getting into hard spots and picking up hair (and cobwebs!) I use these without the swiffer to dust and the like. It works great for all kinds of jobs. (A totally off-label use is in my craftroom! It cleans up shavings, glitter, all types of things!) This picture was taken at the end of one day. And i sweep every day! If there is any dust at all, it will find it. Note: there are some things you still have to use a dustpan for... it will sweep all types of items but it isnt designed to grab hold of large objects. This was no problem for me as it easy sweeps those items into one place.

And this picks up a TON of hair. I prefer these fluffy, pet sheets as I hey seem to grab more debris overall. I use my Swiffer multiple times a day after vacuuming and it’s been a challenge to try and pick up no hair after. Yet this fresh smelling refill sheet always finds more hair lol!

I have 4 cats. They shed an unbelievable amount. I was having bad allergies and sweeping or vacuuming, even mopping just didnt seem to be cutting it. I decided to try a swiffer and, holy cow, I was shocked by how much came off the floor even after vacuuming. Now I use the swiffer every day and these pads pick up SO much hair and dust. I love these things. I can breath again.
