Easy to install. Did the job.

Almost all of the doors at my parents house were a very tight squeeze to get through with a walker, until we had these installed throughout the house. What a difference they make!!!!!! We bought one in brass, but it was so much more expensive, and this bronze hinge looks very nice with the doors, so we settled on this for all of the other doors we had done. (Started with the bathrooms first.) Caregivers love the added room too!!

these r clever---gives ones door about an inch extra opening--at least--& if u r handicapped, in a cumbersome wheel chair, or even a walker, every inch makes life easier.

These hinges are top of the line. So easy to install. They fit bit where the old ones were mounted. It provides enough room for my wife to pass through in her wheelchair. I highly recommend this item!

I liked that by having a swing away hinge, it added another 1 to width of doorway to accommodate a regular sized wheelchair without having to cut out the doorway , incurring construction mess and cost. I dislike, very much, that when door is open, it leave about a 4 gap between door jam and door - very unattractive.

There were no instructions so you just have to figure it out. Hinge is very heavy and much more than needed for the average door. However, it does perform as indicated.

Though the holes where slightly different than my existing hinge holes in my door, they were close enough that they accepted the screws and I would not knock off any stars for that. My wife uses a walker and it widened the opening enough to prevent banging into the door. Totally satisfied.
