> 24 hourIn my career in law enforcement we tend to use these Israeli trauma bandages frequently in the summer months. Its always best to have extra in my jump out bag so this was a great deal on them. If you are new to using these I would recommend getting one to experiment with before your next GSW call.

> 24 hourUse these for work. Carried in my med bag. They seem to take the abuse of being thrown around in a soft tool bag very well. Manning theyre sterile and ready for use when i get around to needing them. Used then a couple times now, even though the bandage itself is overkill for the injury, JUST because i knife- theyre there, and easy to use.

> 24 hourIm not sure why I am doing a review of this bandage - I havent used it or removed it from the package, and hope that I never will. It just went into the first aid kit in my truck. I thought the kit in my truck needed more than the usual band-aids and antiseptic ointment packets that comprise most commercial first aid kits. You know, something that would be useful in a real emergency with traumatic wounds and such. Anyway, this and a couple of other items should make it more useful if - God forbid - something major should come up. So there you go.

> 24 hourI havent tried it, but the packaging is sturdy and the directions are clear. I bought this for an emergency bag on an ATV.

> 24 hourRemember with this you are getting a pad that is great for laying on top of wounds. Just know this is not a substitute for the proper packing of a severe wound. Think of a plastic cup with a pencil running through the middle of the cup, through each side. If the pencil is an artery, a dressing laying on top of the cup wont touch the artery. You need to pack the wound to allow pressure on the artery, and then you can secure the packing with a dressing like this.

> 24 hourThese are great bandages, I purchased these for my go bag/medical kit. But recently had surgery and couldn’t get to the local pharmacy to buy more wrap. So I busted one out and they worked great. High quality and reliable.
