Must be used at the slowest speed possible or they fly apart.

This is a nice set of discs at a good price. Bristle discs do a great job on contours and hard to reach places. These discs do wear but last a long time compared with other options. They are versatile in that you can use one for intricate work or stack them to cover more area. You can stack three discs on the provided mandrels. I like that there are six mandrels included so that I can mount each grit on its own mandrel. The organizer box is a handy addition.

They are easy to use and perform as expected

Description shows that. Bristle disks can be stacked, Use as many disks as you can on the spindle as you need, and use them like a natural bristle brush. This is not so. Screw on mandrel is to short to stack multiple discs can only fit one disc.

I have tried and tried but these just do NOT work for me.

I had wanted to use these to polish metal, but instead they just “cut” the metal rather than polish. They don’t last very long, so value for cost is low. I had no issue with mandrels as others seem to have, but most collets are somewhat flexible so I don’t understand this complaint. I would not buy again.

Awesome product! They work great to polish and buff! I use them on my wire wrapped jewelry and gems. Works better than any other thing I’ve tried. Gets into hard to reach spaces and the different grits allow for a beautiful finish!
