This has every thing needed to replace the touch screen on a Galaxy Tab A

Im very tech savvy for a mom and I was able to successfully take off the cracked screen and install the new one. However, without a how-to video with step by step I did make a few mistakes. 1. I almost removed the glass first without taking the case and back off to unplug the digitizer. 2. When I got to unplugging the digitizer, I didnt realize it was clipped so I broke off the flip fastener that was supposed to just be flipped up to remove the plug. I was able to successfully fix this issue, but the screen would not work without the fastener replaced. 3.The plastic edge around the edge is damaged due to me trying to pry the glass off by myself with no instruction. The product itself works as intended and functions great theres just not a lot of instructions on how to replace for regular people like me. However, I hope by sharing some of my mistakes Im able to help someone like me to be able to do this on their own.

*UPDATE*After a trip from SC to MD, the tablet and digitizer are working fine. Nearly as good as the original! I would certainly buy this again! I started, then cancelled, a return. The tablet is packaged extremely well! It would be a 5 star rating except that the bottom 1/4 of the touchscreen only reacts with an excessive amount of force. Such that you can see the led bending. I have tried calibration tools and many online troubleshooting guides and just cant get it to work correctly. I want give it 5 stars but cant.

Worked as advertized

Received item with glass broken. I am returning.

Installed on a T550 and went smooth. I left for the weekend leaving it comfortably on a stand. My house is like Fort Knox, no pets, cleaning people, lad f riemhds,a dwve access cards disabled while Im out of town, every security precaution taken due to art collection. After the weekend, I walk in and the gd thing has a crack going from upper-middle right to left-middle side.Of course I play with it a little and it spider-cracks over the entire screen. I applied no more tjjam Ive replaced my fair share of screens in my day (30-40) and this by far was the loqwar r w w cracks

It’s a lot harder than the videos look. Be very careful when taking off the back and old screen. I might recommend just buying the one that comes with the LCD inside as well

Yes, its truly perfect. However, its probably that way because I took this screen, with my Samsung Tab A and its broken screen, to the local repair shop. 30 minutes later and $40, my Tab A has a great, unbroken screen. Shh: this isnt the first time my tablet JUMPED off the bed and fell onto the floor...and, of course, it did that all by itself with no help from me. This screen kit is perfect; price seemed about right. For what its worth: Im not an idiot mechanically. However, the 1st time this happened, I was about to do the repair on my own. As I started, I realiZed that it IS possible to bust the tablet. Thats when I packed everything up and sought out someone who actually knew what he/she was doing.
