Great value and adds a nice look to your Truck.

I bought these cause I liked the look. Did it come with prep pad or alcohol prep wipes? No! But the product is very good so far. I washed and rinsed the whole tailgate. Let dry for an hour then I used my own alcohol to rub in the letters of the truck. I let that dry then I applied each letter with good pressure for the best seal. I’ve had them for two weeks and I’ve been through the car wash. No issues at all. Bu I will report back if any. People here cry cause no alcohol wipes, just buy a cheap bottle of it. Make sure you use a hood microfiber towel.

Just remember to go slow and make sure the sun or good lighting is facing the tailgate. Because of the color of my truck it was difficult to see the indention of the tailgate letters when trying to even out the letters. I took a dry erase marker and marked the corners of the tailgate letters first before applying the stick on letters. That made it much easier. Also the correct angle of lighting is a big help too.

This tailgate insert made my husbands Ford Ranger look so nice. He says it was extremely easy to install. It arrived fast and in perfect condition.

It’s a great product for the price. Reading other reviews, it seems that most people had good experiences. However, ours came defective. The first R came bent and almost broken, so if you were to look at the truck closely, you could see the line down the left side. The sticky black backing to the G came misaligned. We had to cut out the piece that was sticking out, otherwise it would be very noticeable. Overall these were easy issues to fix. The process was simple, just make sure you align it correctly the first time because you will not be able to take it off and try again.
