Tap Magic 30004P ProTap Cutting Fluid, 4 oz. Size

I have been using bar and chain oil for years of tapping and threading. Decided to give this a shot after watch a video online that swore by Tap Magic. It is a bit pricey for the quantity but the results are worth it. With bar and chain oil I could get maybe 2 turns of a full bite cut, but with Tap Magic I can go 4 full turns before I back the tap out and clear the hole.

Ive never used cutting oil in a personal setting before, only, literally, in metal shop back in high school which tells you all you need to know about me lol I decided to use some for this job and my God it worked so well and made things so much easier. I will never again drill metal without it.

Works as intended. Doesnʻt seem much better than other cutting fluids, but I think the bits and tools do stay longer when using this compared to others.

I use this all the time for taps, dies, drilling, ect. It works really well and it smells nice too. It gets 4 stars because the little red cap on the tip will sometimes pop off if you drop the bottle. They should get a more secure design.

It saves on my drill bits before I found this I was burning up my bits like crazy thank

I have used this product before and it does help reduce heat while drilling which dulls drill bits faster . I was impressed with it when I used it and decided to get my own . Saw it on Amazon while placing another order so I added the tap magic to my order . It’s a 4 ounce bottle but will last me a long time since I don’t drill very often . Since you only need just a little each time you drill , it should last me a while . Price was right for the quantity so I consider this to be an economical purchase . Happy that Amazon had this on hand since other sources didn’t have it handy .

Great addition to any tap and die set. Really works wonders where making new threads.

Good quality

The product did make cutting larger threads easier in an existing fastener hole. Not much of a challenge though, but I feel the product worked well.
