Tesa Black Fuzzy Fleece Interior Wire Loom Harness Tape for VW, Audi, Mercedes, BMW 19 mm X 15 Meters (5 Rolls)

Used this to wrap up unwanted connectors and wires when I installed a new headunit in my car, prefer it over plain electrical tape (in terms of dressing up wires) I also like that the fleece covering gives added insulation if it vibrates/rubs against something.

Tape has superior adhesion and is overall an amazing tape. Great for sound deadening interior wires and in between areas where leather and plastic meet.

I am so upset that it took me so long to learn about this tesa tape. For many years I worked in the car audio, video, and security industry. Wrapping wires in electrical tape because it was the best way known to me at the time, other than heat shrinking all the wires which in many cases would take far to long. If you have ever had to deal with wires that had been wrapped in electrical tape you will know its not fun. Electrical tape leaves a heavy black residue on the wire insulation, especially when it starts to warm up outside like during the summer months. It does not stand up to heat very well like say under an engine bay. The heat over times weakens the bond of the adhesive and will thus unravel the tape. This Tesa fleece tape is much better to work with. Though it is more expensive than a roll of electrical tape. It with stands heat much better, and it also does not leave behind a nasty residue on the wires. The best thing about it is when you wrap wires in it, it looks more like a factory wiring setup than wires wrapped in electrical tape and people love that because it looks clean. I do not do car audio for a living anymore, but I do still have do installs from time to time out of my garage to make extra money. This stuff makes those installs easier and the finished install looks much cleaner.

Great adhesion, nice feel, have a great professional feel and look. Only have used on the interior of my car, so not sure how they would hold up to weather, but out of the 3 tapes I’ve tried this one is significantly better in every category
