Greater than one weeki load my own ammunition for a variety of revolvers, each with potentially different chamber mouth diameters, forcing cone diameters and barrel groove diameters. trying to measure the internal diameter of cylindrical holes to the thousandth (0.001) to determine the correct bullet size for a particular revolver is problematic with a 0.001 dial caliper. these minus size pin gauges are perfect for this purpose. they also will easily identify if the chamber mouths are the same diameter as the others in a particular cylinder, and if undersize, what size reamer is necessary. ive already learned more about my firearms. if you reload or do light gunsmithing, you will find these worth the price. randomly measuring five gauges with a micrometer reveals them to conform to the specification of zz minus.

> 3 dayUpon receiving I immediately took a Mitutoyo micrometer to the 0.250, 0.187 and 0.125 pins and all were exactly to size minus 0.00015.
