Super great calculator with tons of functions on it. It can graph and calculate all the problems in higher math levels. Even has a sheet with all the ways you can work this calculator which is amazing.

Got it for my son . He loves it. Easy to use and a great assistant to his math classes. Duno why the big difference in price based on color??!

Ive used graphing calculators since college. I had a TI-83 Plus Silver that Ive used for years. Ordered this one for my daughter who is in 9th grade. The backlit screen makes a huge difference, and the colors make it much easier to see the graphs. My daughters school allows them to download the TI-84 calculator program on their laptops, but having the hand held calculator works much better for her so she doesnt have to tab back and forth between her homework or test and the TI-84 program. One difference between my TI-83 and this TI-84 is that my TI-83 required AAA batteries. This TI-84 just comes with a charging cable. For this reason the TI-84 is lighter, but not sure how well my daughter will keep up with the cord. I may have to buy her a case to keep both in.

The t84 was sold out . So think outside the box . T84 plus same calculator more functions .
