> 3 dayA new, more personal way of understanding God and how he (or quite possibly she) is involved with our lives. Unfortunately, evil exists, it is not Gods fault that it is there. But if we allow God into our lives, he/she can help us deal with it and heal from it.

> 3 dayIn the comments, you may see alot of disdained and upset viewers. However, this movie does exactly what it is meant to do. This movie shows you that God loves you, all of you. God loves every bad, doubtful, hidden, and beautiful part of you that is inside your shack (your soul). This movie will teach how to make a garden of weeds transform into a garden of flowers. When you forgive, you forgive for GOD. So that he may help continue in the destiny he made solely for you. That does not mean what they did was excusable, but the power they held on you must cease. God wants you to be free. What forgiveness means is that you let go of that persons neck (as explained in the movie), so that both of you can breathe. This helps you heal the effect. This movie helped me a lot. It helped heal a lot of pain and realize God never stopped watching me. An that when I saw only one set of footsteps in the sand, that was when he carried me. I suggest watching the movie and to also watch Restoration: The shack where the author explains the movie and its true meaning. :)

> 3 dayI loved this movie and will re-watch it, but I also was aware during a lot of it my surface mind was saying this is such a Hallmark thin feel good thing. I let the judgments come and go and stayed with the theme and wept in several parts because it touched that sense of separation I feel so often. I hope watching this film brings you healing, peace and a renewed sense of wonder. You are loved. <3

> 3 dayI just have to say ⚠️**TRIGGER WARNING** ⚠️ ⚠️ Kidnapping ⚠️ Child death⚠️ As a father and his three children are on a camping trip, his family experiences a near drowning, when after he rescues one of his children, he is relieved to see that child is going to be okay. However, one of his children come up missing. (Kidnapped & SA & murdered). Filled with grief and anger and un forgiveness, family growing apart, he has lost his faith until receives a mysterious letter with no return address, asking him to return to where it all began. Filled with suspense, heartbreaking moments, laughter moments, this is one movie you must see. Though it isn’t 100% biblically accurate, this movie serves its purpose on topics of God, Jesus, family, forgiveness, letting go and allowing God to take charge, loss, grief, faith, loss of faith and regaining it. The Shack stirred up things in me I kept or tried to keep buried deep within myself for years but also showed me exactly where I was lacking and reminded me that everyone deserves forgiveness, not just for the one that has done me wrong but more importantly, myself. This movie is in my opinion appropriate for all ages 12 yrs and up. Staring Tim McGraw
