The West Wing

Sublime viewing...

Im watching the entire series for the third time. Every season is consistently good, even when new characters and plots are introduced. If youre looking for a good series that is well written with good character development, youll like this. I think the writers and producers mustve put a lot of thought into researching the goings-on at the actual White House (in fact, about halfway through the series, they do a special one-hour show that features the actual people who were in the same roles at the White House). Having lived in DC for about six months and having seen some of the behind-the-scenes machinations that are a part of that particular political landscape, I think this series well captures it. There are only some instances where you have to suspend your disbelief. Otherwise, its an intelligent series that actually makes me have hope for the future of politics. I think we need a Jed Bartlett and staff for the next election. I missed this series when it was originally broadcast; I am surprised that some of the plots are still so timely; and saddened, too, that so little has changed.

In 2004 I started watching the show when Kerry was running agaist Bush. It got me interested in politics and now after eight years, I started watching again (while spinning) and appreciate it all over again - especially after reading Rob Lowes book (if you havent read it, you should).

Entertainment with a strong dose of contemporary governmental history. This shows episodes explore just about every political / governmental scenario and event. Though it is now over 10 years old, it seems that little has changed in the political arena of partisan politics, political shenanigans, and the good / bad / and ugly. But this show does a much better job at exploring the how and why of it all than you ever get in our news media.

This television series is intelligent, informative and highly entertaining. Delivery of product was speedy and product came in very good condition.

The West Wing is one of the best written, articulate, and interesting television shows ever! I wish it was still around.

My husband and I are true West Wing fanatics! He started collecting the series but forgot 2 seasons! Thanks to Amazon I was able to find and purchase both seasons at a terrific price!

Hoovered up many seasons of West Wing, this was a great one. Last season with Sorkin, but so much more going on.

Received within a few days of ordering in excellent shape. Would recommend and order from this company again. The only question I have is that the Company that send the information is not the same Company name listed on Amazon. Dont know why the difference.

Love the writing style and the acting. Amazon Prime video/audio quality is flawless. Looking forward to the rest of the series!
