The main reason I bought this pack is for the normal sized cards it offers instead of the miniature cards that come with the original game.

Love it!

We played Ticket to Ride a few times with the cards that come with the game, then bought these. These cards are bigger so you use these cards instead of the cards that came with the game (uh oh?) BUT, this deck HAS all of the cards from the game in the deck, so you just use these. There are a lot more routes and an extra bonus or two. If you like the game, buy these.

We love having the larger cards that make up the expansion set. We never use the original cards at all any more.

Id give this game a 5, but what were they thinking by putting those small cards is the original game? Probably, we can make more money by selling normal sized cards later. Thats why only a 3. Still fun to play.

expansion definitely added complexity and thank goodness cards are regular sized and not tiny.

Just what we needed

Highest scoring game of Ticket to Ride ever, using this expansion. You can really have a great time with all the additional options. Ive only played it 2-3 times, and I think Ive got years of intermittent enjoyment coming.
