Using this a a cathode in electro-etching cell. The electrolyte is CuSO4. The anode is brass. Voltage = 1V Current = 1A. The copper plates onto this screen. The screen it easy to cut with hardware scissors. I remove it from the cell when the current is off and rinse it off. It is low maintenance. Do not use this screen as ANODE. It will release chromium.

I will be using these as a fire/spark arrestor screen on an old wood burning stove that is set up out of doors.

These were a good product. The only issue I had was if you even slightly bent it, it would not bend back. Also, some of the metal began to come undone. It’s nearly impossible to get it back in place. The edges were also a bit sharp. So if you’re looking to just apply these immediately then they’re great. But any molding or moving of them might be difficult.

These mesh pieces were a lot stronger than I expected. If you wanted to fold it, it would take some effort to get the folded edge completely flat. That said it did cut with office scissors, though with some force. Perfect for replacing chewed up vent screens on my garage door

I purchased to use as squirrel guards for seedling pots. Covered three four inch pots. Available for less at hardware store but I purchased from amazon because of pandemic quarantine.

Good quality. Recommend you buy a good pair of aviation snips to cut these or youre gonna have a rough time (seriously). Used to repair the filter screen on my electric kettle.

I used this to close all my vents. The vents still work, but the mice arent able to damage these. I love these

Easy to bend and shape to match any space. Has sharp edges so need to be extra careful when handling it.

Fine for my use. I fold up the edges to fit into rectangular baking dishes and grow microgreens on them. Can fold them so theres some space under the mesh for water, and sprinkly beans or seeds on top of the mesh, so they can grow roots into the water. Works fine, cant say for other uses.

Rob Slater wrote an excellent review with product numbers and pictures for doing this. I am following his instructions. These are sturdy and thick enough to serve the purpose but durable enough to work with. Follow his instructions and buy the exact products.
