Works great in my late 2012 27 Core i5 iMac. It happily hums along with lots of memory now. Snapped in the back just fine.

Finally got around to adding these cards. I tried installing a different brand which stated it was compatible but after all the work of pulling apart my screen, removing the computers guts, and putting it all back together with adhesive. It didnt work. The RAM upgrade/install is not hard, it just takes a steady hand and attention to detail. I redid everything and installed these modules and ... Wallah! Mac is reading the sticks correctly. everything is as it should be. The RAM and SDD upgrades were a huge improvement to the computer and brought my machine back to life. I will likely get another 2-3 years out of my computer than i would have before. If youre on the fence about this purchase, just go for it. If it allows you to use that mac a couple of years longer, than its worth it.

My mid-2012 MacBook Pro was experiencing the maddening spinning rainbow wheel of death often and had slowed to a crawl. I was about to shell out $1,500 for a new computer when I came across a little button in the About this Mac memory section that said learn how to upgrade, with a link to Apple support that showed exactly how to swap out the memory cards for ones with more GBs. I swapped my 2 memory cards that were 2GB each for these, which are 4GB each, and now my computer is running like new again--or maybe even faster than when it was new! Very very happy. :)

My MacBook which is getting on in years was extremely slow, freezing constantly. Was basically not usable. Used these cards to upgrade the memory myself in a last ditch effort to try to get at least another year out of my computer. Wow. It worked! I doubled my ram with these and my computer is running much faster and I am now able to use it to back up my files on drives and try to clean it up to get a bit more life out of it for the time being. It is very easy to install these cards, there are many how-to videos on the web. This purchase was well worth it.

Came right on time, I did the installation the same day and now my MacBook 2011 is running super smooth.

Quit working after 3.5 months. Get something with better quality even if it’s more expensive.
