The sprayer button broke after less than a year. If you dont constantly clean it, it reeks and clogs up. The suction power is not great and doesnt really give a good scrub, more of just a very very light surface clean that shoves water all over. Good for very very light clean up of crumbs but wont do any sort of deep clean.

Have to empty filter after every 5 minutes after vacuuming on hardwood floors. It just shuts itself off if the filter is halfway full. Used the mop for cat pee and the smell hasn’t come out of the vacuum after multiple cleanings. Complete and total waste of money. I feel robbed after buying this.

I loved this item when I purchased it. Told all of my friends and family and even purchased it as a gift. It has now been less than a year. And it is fully charged and won’t stay on and won’t sweep etc. we have ran the self cleaning cycle and it just foams all over the place and does not suck up. Garbage product for the price. Doesn’t last. Don’t waste your money.

I like the fact that i can sweep and mop at the same time! It really cleans well, the proof is in the dirty water that comes back in the little bin. I like that its self cleaning after use. There is a place on it that says spot clean up. I press that button and see no performance on spot removal, so I just continue to scrub over it until the spot is gone. What i dont like is clearning the part that catches the dirty water, you have to empty and clean that part of it after every use or it will smell. The self cleaning is only for the roller part of it

The first thing I feel like I should mention based on several reviews here, is that this is Tinecos base machine. Its their cheapest, most basic model. Its a no frills floor cleaner, meat for a roommor two at a time, or for when you need to clean spots or spills when they happen. If you need a whole house, then you will need the higher end models with more battery. With that in mind, its a wonderful machine! It has saved our bacon a couple times! We have a small apartment with all vinyl plank flooring. Its pretty, but hides the dirt well and can be annoying to clean at times. This Tineco helps a ton! Its simple and easy to use. Just add water and cleaning solution, and go! Its cleaning abilities are good. Its always using fresh water to mop the floor and you can tell. Our floors are always shiny afterwords, with minimal streaking. Especially with spills and accidents, just hit the spot button and you can just suck them up and leave a clean area behind. Some extremely stuck on thing might take a couple passes, but thats to be expected. It always picks up enough dirty that I cant imagine going back to a regular mop. I use them at work and hate them. Regular mops just spread everything around most of the time, then leave the area wet and only slightly cleaner than it was. These machines are always using fresh water and sucking away the dirt. The suction is nice, it can vacuum the edges well enough that you dont have to do it later. Please note though, this model doesnt have the edge cleaning design, while it can vacuum loose dirt, it wont wash all the way to the edge. Personally its not a huge deal, I just take a rag and run up and down the edges quickly and Im done. Clean up of the machine is easy and quick. Its similar to all of these floor machines. When your done using the machine, add fresh water to the table, and empty the dirty tank. Plug it in, and hold down the power button for selfie clean. After that I just empty the tanks and let them dry, I take the roller off the machine and put it in the holder to dry. If needed Ill wash and rinse the parts but you probably wont end to do that every time. Just remember to empty the tank and take the roller out to dry. I do wish the battery was a little longer. We have a one bedroom apartment under 800 sqft Total, with the majority of the living room being a large rug. I can comfortably do the whole apartment on one charge but I have to move reasonably quick between areas. Again, not a deal breaker, just something to keep in mind. This machine is great for daily use as a stick vac and such. As a full blown deep cleaning machine you may need more time but again, I knew that going in so its not a problem! If I had to list the cons it would be a longer battery, better edge cleaning, and to lay flatter for under furniture. But again, I knew all this going in, and is exactly why they have more models that fix all those things. So realistically, the machine really has no problems or its own. Overall I absolutely love this thing! A little story too: We recently had to take our dog to the vet, she was sick with no real reason we knew of. The vet determined she just had an upset tummy and gave her some medicine to help with nausea. All was well till we came home from work the evening after. When we reached our door we heard the jungle of her collar and immediately knew something was wrong, as we put her in the cage before we left. Well upon walking in, the stench is what hit us first. Then we realized she got herself out of her cage because she had diarrhea. Let me tell you .... IT WAS EVERYWHERE. My basket of clean clothes no longer clean, the back door, the front door, a corner, and wall. EVERYWHERE. We felt so terrible for her, but go figure, she was happier than ever, dang dogs! As it turns out, the medicine given to her has the possible side effect of diarrhea! As it was late, and I genuinely wasnt sure how to approach cleaning this situation, I elected to try my Tineco. THIS MACHINE JUST BECAME WORTH ITS WEIGHT IN GOLD! I got it ready to go with Tineco solution and water, and prayed. Turned it on, immediately hitting spot mode and went around devouring all the spots around our apartment with ease! I got 90% of it up within 10 minutes! I stopped half way to refill the clean water and empty the dirty tank. I also ran a self clean cycle. Then I went back to it and finished the job! We did the rest by hand with some rags and bleach water. After we finished cleaning I went on to clean and sanitize the machine. I washed the roller, bin and roller cover soap and sanitized them with disinfectant too. Same with the machine, I wiped it down with a good disinfectant, and thankfully you cannot tell the horror it just went through. We did also go through with a regular mop and bleach purely for sanitizing purposes. The day after I also washed the floors again with the tineco, just to make sure they were clean! I do very much wish Tineco would make a sanitizing solution for instances like these! Everything is fine now! We called the vet and confirmed that the medicine may have not helped. Our doghter (dog daughter) is perfect fine and happy as ever!

I bought this brand new, and it didn’t work straight out of the box. It does not spray at all. I looked online for solutions to this issue and nothing worked. It was a waste of money and I will be returning it.

At first glance, this works beautifully. However, on every subsequent use, no matter how well you run the ‘clean’ setting, or how careful you are about dumping the dirty water tank, it spews filthy liquid all over the floor. Suction is not good enough to clean the additional mess the machine itself made.

It works fairly well but you literally have to fully disassemble and clean the parts and sponges every single use otherwise it will smell. It smells like dead fish and will squirt dead fish water on your floors the next time you use it unless you fully clean it out. If you have any longer hairs get sucked up into the vacuum they become twisted around the round mop brush, lodged in the base of the vacuum, or lodged in the in between parts that you cant reach. I even tried to sweep up all the hair before using it but it always found some to suck up and get stuck. It never really felt clean even when i took it all apart and cleaned it. It also definitely leaks when you turn it off, so be sure to set it on the little base they give you, but still, ew. Id rather do the two separate steps of vacuuming and mopping because it ends up being less steps and it actually gets the floors clean. This would be great if you had weekly cleaners already and just wanted it for a quick extremely light kitchen cleanup (and had someone else to clean it out) but for any other situation its really impractical.
