We’ve had 2 Apple TV’s for about two years now. The little remotes are SO small, thin and slippery! I don’t know why I didn’t think to look for a case/cover for them sooner, but I am so glad I did! Best protector for apple remote.

This cheap and simple little silicone case make the Apple TV remote tolerable. Makes is much easier to hold, much easier to locate, and much easier to find if you drop it in the cushions. Also helps you grab the remote in the right direction on the first attempt rather than having to flip it around each time. It does not hamper performance in any way.

Go other than black if you want to find it, but black suits it good

If you have Apple TV I highly recommend getting one of these cases. The remote is so small that it often gets lost in couches or misplaced at least with the case you will be able to see it and you can add an air tag to the case also.
