Absolutely love this case. Looks just like the pictures and is sturdy. I have the switch oled with a case and added covers on the joycons and it fits snug. No complaints for the case! If you’re wanting a slim case I highly recommend.

Slim case for travel, still feels very protective

This case only fits the Switch OLED with the original joycons attached, I went with this for the sleekness and I got it. When fully closed, I noticed that there is a little bit of space between the joysticks and the outer edge of the case, so I cant press the joysticks even if I squeeze decently hard. I noticed other reviews saying they can press it when closed, so Im not sure if it was updated at some point, but I like mine.

I was in a store FaceTiming with my grandson as he helped me pick out a Switch case. In the background my daughter texted me “don’t buy it there!”. So I didn’t and I called her. She’s a Switch pro. She said I have to buy a Tomtoc, they’re the best cases out there. And it’s perfect. I like that it’s a padded hard case with indents for the buttons and joysticks. It also can hold 10 game cartridges. Lastly I like that it’s pretty much a plain looking black case, I don’t need to advertise the fact I’m carrying a Switch while I’m on the subway.

I owned a previous version and the cover material in white version feels cheaper

I like to pack my Switch a lot with my EDC gear because sometimes it’s nice to decompress whenever we get the chance - I read enough! It has done a great job protecting my Switch from the monstrosities that comprise of the contents in my backpack (keys, water bottle, lunch, books, #campuslife) I have never used TomToc before now but they have made a fan. Stores more games than I currently can afford. Just this weekend I packed my unit into a duffel with all kinds of things (laptop, power adapters) and it did exactly what it was suppose to do. Now I need to get a case for the dock so I can stop wrapping it in a t-shirt.

I wanted to start using my switch on my long train commute to/from work. This is perfectly slim for my bag. I carry my charger separately but it doesnt bother me.

tomtoc has made a number of great cases/accessories for modern consoles - and this case for your Switch OLED is another superb addition to that lineup! The case is slim and designed to really go anywhere, it only holds the Switch with attached Joy-Cons and a few game cards. But, given the Switch boasts solid all around battery life, thats really all you need. The Switch fits easily without pressure and also is easy to remove - the case is hard-sided and (while Im not sure about it being Military Grade - Im not sure Im qualified to judge on that one) it does seem like it will provide significant protection from impacts to the case. I have thankfully not had to test that one yet. The materials and zipper/stitching are top notch as they are on all the tomtoc accessories that Ive used to date and it should prove to be durable. The case is rather understated in appearance, which is what Im looking for (it appears to be designed to appeal to more mature Switch owners, versus others that might appeal more to younger audiences). So if you have a Switch OLED and want to keep it protected, this is a great way to do it and not spend a ton of cash. I highly recommend it for all the OLED owners out there!
