I like it just fine. However, I feed my cats canned food and they never drink water, even though fresh filtered water is provided form them daily. Unfortunately, my cats ignore this fountain, but it’s not a flaw in the fountain, which works very well. It’s, well, cats.

I bought this pack of filters as recommended for my cats new fountain. When I changed out the last of the filters provided with the fountain (which fit nice and snug inside the drinking pans drain) with one of the refills, it was immediately apparent it had a smaller lip and allowed much of the water to bypass the filter itself. In the attached image, it can be seen the filter pouch is the same size but with a smaller lip, the water will go the way of least resistance, AROUND the filter. With all the water bypassing the filter, the larger particles that wind up in the dish that normally are caught by the drain filter, like fur, will be pushed down into the well, which means Ill have to change the water more often. I already clean it out once a week and change the filter every two to three weeks. Very upset by the lack of continuity in sizing for the filters.

The spares for you fountain are great. Many of both filters and will not need to purchase again until the fall. Good value.

Its very quiet, very easy to clean and holds a lot of water. I just wish it had a low level indicator
