Were going through our filters like crazy since were breeding guppies for a year long school project. The filter is unique since it lets us know when it needs to be changed with a little red indicator when it is dirty. it lasts a while when we dont overload the tank with too much food at a time. It was tiresome to go into the store monthly for these when we could just get this 12 pack and significantly minimize our trips.

We have difficulty periodically finding supplies of these filters. Amazon provides them quickly and at a reduced price.
